Role and Responsibilities

Laura Barbieri works in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Mind and Memory Care, ensuring that Meadow Ridge residents, their families and caregivers receive the support they need. She works on building a trusting relationship with residents, which proves invaluable when life-changing decisions need to be made.

“I love it here at Meadow Ridge,” she says. “Meadow Ridge is a beautiful community that is resident-focused,” shares Laura.

Industry Expertise

“My first job out of college was with the Area Agency on Aging, and I worked in senior housing,” she says. “I found working with the elderly extremely fulfilling.” Laura previously served as the social worker for Ridge Crest, the rehabilitation neighborhood at Meadow Ridge, and has dedicated over two decades to her professional journey working as a licensed social worker in senior living.

Milestones

Laura holds a degree from Fordham Graduate School of Social Science and is a licensed social worker, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
