In her role as resident care director at Meadow Ridge, Lorenn Lent collaborates closely with the nursing department and interdisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality of personalized care to each resident.
Industry Expertise
With a background spanning from her early years as a home health aide to her current position as resident care director, Lorenn brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has served in various capacities within healthcare, including as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), registered nurse (RN), charge nurse, RN supervisor and director of nursing.
Passion for Senior Care
Lorenn’s passion for senior care is evident in her genuine enjoyment of spending time with residents. “I enjoy listening to their stories about their interesting lives and their families,” she says. “My favorite part of my job is meeting so may interesting people from many different countries and lifestyles – including residents and fellow staff members. Healthcare is so diverse!”
Career Journey
Lorenn’s journey in healthcare began as a home health aide during her teenage years. She subsequently pursued further education and training, obtaining licensure as both an LPN and an RN. Her dedication to continuous learning and professional development has been instrumental in her career progression and her ability to provide exceptional care to residents.
Personal Interests
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Lorenn enjoys reading, hiking and spending quality time with her family.
