Meadow Ridge Helping Weston Little League Hit It Out of the Park
Redding, Conn. – Meadow Ridge, a Benchmark continuing care retirement community (CCRC), today announced they are sponsoring the Weston Little League’s 2021 – 2022 season. The sponsorship will be used to pay for things like uniforms, field upkeep and equipment.
“The Weston Little League is a cause we are passionate about because many of our residents are from Weston and either used to play, have children that played or have grandchildren who do,” said Chris Barstein executive director of Meadow Ridge. “At Meadow Ridge, our purpose is to keep our residents connected to the people, passions and things like these that matter most to them.”
Sports and fitness play a significant role in the life at Meadow Ridge, thanks in part to the community’s partnership with the National Institute for Fitness & Sport, which helps to facilitate fitness classes, personal training and other programs. In addition, the community features numerous outdoor athletic courts, including croquet and bocce ball courts, tennis and pickleball courts and a putting green and chipping area.
“Seeing our logo on the team jersey has been a real treat, and we wish all teams an outstanding season,” said Barstein.
