Meadow Ridge Welcomes Dr. Faria Mahmood as New Medical Director

Meadow Ridge is pleased to introduce Dr. Faria Mahmood as the new medical director for Ridge Crest, Meadow Ridge’s Sub-Acute Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing neighborhood. She will also offer primary care services as the house doctor for our Independent Living, Assisted Living and Mind & Memory Care neighborhoods.

Comprehensive Care with Medical Director and Exceptional Care Team

With the support of an advance practice registered nurse and a medical technician, Dr. Mahmood will see patients in Ridge Crest’s new doctors’ suite. The suite can accommodate primary care visits and consultations, lab draws and specialty care appointments with a range of providers in Fairfield County. In-house cardiology appointments, for example, are now being offered for Ridge Crest patients with Dr. Nicole Orr of Post-Acute Cardiology Care.

Dr. Mahmood is a physician with Nuvance Health, a regional health system serving Western Conn. and the Hudson Valley of New York.
